English 3, Post 1, 'Who am I?'

Hello!


The first thing is to introduce myself, my name is Alejandra Antequera, I was born 22 years ago in the city of Arica, in northern Chile. I studied in a school called San Marcos de Arica, which was Catholic. I graduated in 2016 and then headed my way to Santiago de Chile.

I am currently studying Chemistry and Pharmacy at the University of Chile, it is my third year. My plan is to continue studying, and I am clear that English is a very important tool, so I hope to learn a lot about it.

I became independent at 18 since I left my mother's house, however, every 6 months at most I travel to see her, it's just her and me, we love each other very much. My home is currently in the commune of Ñuñoa, where I have an apartment in which I live with two kittens named Robin and Lexie, they are my family.

In this time of quarantine I discovered that I really like makeup, it is something that I am very passionate about to continue practicing, I wish I could be very good at it one day.

I say goodbye, that they are well!

  I choose to talk about Marie Curie! She is a fantastic woman, she is Polish nationalized as French, she was born in Warsaw, November 7, 1867 and died in Passy, July 4, 1934. She was married to a man who was her partner in her studies . She was the first woman to receive two Nobel Prizes! She made a great contribution to chemistry by conducting various studies on radioactivity. She fascinates me with her life, I feel that she is an icon and a woman whom I value and respect very much. Post 2: the best concert ever

 Hello! I've been in a couple of concerts in my life. The one that I liked the most was the concert of "resident". I went in 2018 at the movistar arena. I remember it was for his album when he toured the world, so the songs were very diverse. I liked all of them! That's why I knew the lyrics of all of them and I sang them very loudly. Also when I was a girl, I went to many Americo concerts, because he is from the city where I was born, Arica, so he had many presentations there, I still enjoyed his presentations a lot with my parents and my little friends. I was in company of an old friend, he gave me the tickets, I had a great time that night. For things in life we didn't talk any longer, but it is a very good memory. I would really like to go to another concert this year... I was thinking about buying tickets with my best friend for a festival that will be in December, I'm still thinking about it, although most likely I will.

English 3, Post 4, 'A Meal or Food you really like'

If I have to write about some food that I like, I think I would write about Chilean hot dogs. I don't think there is anything better than a humble "completo." I love the complete one because it is very versatile, it can be a lunch, snack, or dinner. Also because they are a combination of many ingredients that together are very good for a relatively low price. It is also very accessible, everywhere they sell this food. I honestly don't know how good it is for my health. But I do know that I enjoy it a lot and for me that is enough, I am able to exercise to be able to enjoy a Chilean hot dog with friends is something very rewarding for me and my life. I have very good memories of this typical chilean food. I remember when my mother prepared them with tea and invited my friends to eat. It was very nice after playing.
